Usually, under such a law, it would be the Age of Majority, or essentially legal adulthood.
Still, in many locations, once a juvenile has turned 16, the authorities will not expend any effort to force the return of a juvenile to the parents as said juvenile has made the determination to leave and will likely do so again. That's not a legal defense, but still a realistic one.
Also consider that employers and landlords are still leery of violating any laws governing THEIR roles in any contractual arrangements with said minor.

It varies by state. In the US the age of consent is usually regarded as 18. In can be lower depending on certain states. I've read that in some states, boys and girls can get married at the age of 14. That usually requires a parental consent.
It really varies.

18. But there is also such a thing a being an emancipated minor. Meaning that you have gone to court and the judge has ruled that you are able to care for yourself. However in those cases, most likely you would have to move out and be able to support yourself. This is what you would have to prove to the court. Until then, by law, you must remain under your parents supervision.

As soon as you leave your mother's house and can pay for your own housing, food, clothes and expenses. Eighteen is often the age that this happens after graduating from high school if the child does not remain in the home and go to college. As long as you are in your mother and father's home, you answer to them. Living with your parents is still immaturity. We are mature when we can truly become the grown ups with all the responsibilities.

Legally it is 18, when you basically become a adult. Personally I feel the age of consent should be when the teen consents to getting their own job, their own car, their own apartment, their own food, pay their own bills, and does NOT relie on parents for any of their needs. In other words, when you consent to being a adult and take adult responsibility, until then obey your parents and their rules.

Age of consent usually applies to `age of consent to have sex,` it varies from country to country.
I believe the age a person can legally leave home is 16, but would not swear to it.

18 legally, but your parents don't have to let you come back. I'm sure they'd rather you'd move out all together, rather than having you bucking the rules.
