or vice versa?

what is the minimum mix of handouts and social freedom it takes to win your vote?

I like your question. It's a good way of summing up the nature and intentions of Hillary, Harry Ried, Schummer, Pelosi, and the rest of 'em. They want a population dependant on government. Instead of a "pull-your-own-weight" population that determines the government's role and involvement.

Better take a couple of hours off and get told what to think by Rash Limbo, as your shaky grasp of liberals is getting shakier by the minute.
I don't want a handout, or less social freedom - and I'm NOT a Republicon, or a conservative. I want a federal government that can balance it's budget like I balance my checkbook; and I want a federal government where the three branches are separate and equal - not with an executive that that tramples the constitution and gets away with it scot free because the other two branches won't deal with the abuses of the executive.
And last, but not least, if I am to be preached at by Republicons about not being patriotic because I don't blindly support the Iraq war; I would at least like to be preached at by conservatives that have an actual military record to speak of.
As a combat vet myself, I can respect McCain. But for Hannity, Limbo, O'Reilly, Coulter, Dobson, or the rest - not a one of these "*******" ever put their bodies where their mouths are.

And Bush gives less handouts and less social freedom - so what's your point?

No thanks.

We need freedom in our country, since it's the "land of the free". Too bad the Bush Regime doesn't see it that way.

As for the so called hand outs, many are called entitlements in which we pay for. Social Security is a right.

In order to get the lib vote you will have to better educate yourself about what is important to libs. Based on your question, you have a long way to go.

Less social freedom?

You'll definitely get the conservative vote.

And handouts for corporations?

Again, conservatives will vote for you in droves.

Seems similar to creating tax cuts, while pursuing the North American Union; attempting to sell U.S. port security to Dubai; pushing through "Patriot Acts," and other such shenanigans, don't you think?

You would NEVER get my vote. You seem to only care about yourself.
Once you get it through your head that the majority of people (libs included) want to help those who NEED it, not WANT it, you just may have a better understanding of something you don't seem to get.

You would likely get their vote because they believe you can have more social handouts and still maintain social freedoms. Very naive indeed.......
