I know what you're thinking...every team technically gets 81 scheduled home games, even if they're not in the usual home stadium.
However, the Yankees will play their home games in Yankee Stadium in 2008, despite the simultaneous building of the new stadium. The Yankees will not be forced out of Yankee Stadium during the 2008 season. I think this should answer the question you were trying to ask.
