I want to set up my internet base station in my mac book. But somewhow i could not get access to 192.168.1.1. It says it is not authorized. In my previous pc, i was able to get into this router. Please can someone help me? thanks

Your router configuration may require a direct cable connection.

Alternately you must provide the admin password. If that's been forgotten then you'll need to do a hard reset and use the router's set up program.

Reset your router (using the button on the back) and set it up all over again. Some routers are sensitive to the MAC address of the base machine. With a new machine, you are "no longer authorized"

Routers are and can be a little different to access.
Check the phamplet that came with the router to be sure you are using the correct username and password.
