Will Ron Zook take his Illini team in under the radar and bomb out OSU's NC dreams?

I don't think OSU loses this one, but I think the illini make it a good game for one half before OSU wakes up to realize they have to play this one.

Nope. As much as I respect what the Illini have done all season, I don't think they stand much of a chance at the Horseshoe next week.
Mendenhall and Williams are fun to watch, but they are easily shaken when a defense comes at them with guns blazing. The OSU defense will prove too much for them.
The Illini defense - wait! They don't have much of a defense...at least not a strong enough one to stop Boekman, Robiskie and Hartline.
I'm sure a lot of people would love to see Illinois beat OSU, but that's really not going to happen.

It almost happened last year, and you can bet Tressel won't let it happen twice in a row. The Illini are playing in Columbus, and they just don't have the firepower on either side of the ball to stay with Ohio State.

it would be more dramatic if Michigan was losing, because OSU would fall a lot more than. therefore, WI needs to beat MI in Madison. then if OSU loses to MI, probably ranked that week in the 20's, OSU might fall out of National Championship seeding. wouldn't that be a headline?

OSU will beat Illinois. it's the week after that we all look forward to.

No. Tressell wont allow his team to look ahead to the MI game. They focus on the upcoming game and only that game. Once the Illinois game is over they can start talking about Michigan.

Tressel very rarely loses the games he should win. There is a reason why they play the game, so Illinios has a chance, but I just don't think they are good enough this year.

yes they are stealthy, they should have beaten Michigan but they commited a bazillion ridiculous penalties and muffed a punt near their own goal line just so Ohio State would underestimate them. Ohio State will fall for this trick. i think it is set up.

probably not, Illinois is very one demensional. Two very athletic qb's but they cant throw. You have to be a well rounded offensive team to beat Ohio State.
