It won't turn on. Only when I leave my finger on the on button, if I let go it turns off. It's been like this for like 3 days. Yesterday and the day before it wouldn't turn on, I kept pressing the on button and it eventually stayed on without my finger. Also during those two days it shut off while I was using the internet. But today it just won't stay on, so for the time being I put tape on the on button. Does anyone know what's wrong? Can it be fixed or should I just get a new one?

Hi. The switch sounds dirty. You could TRY to open the modem and spray contact cleaner into the switch but a DSL modem is usually owned by the provider. They will give you a free replacement usually.

ya hon you should try and clean the modem and try doing that from time to time so the velocity wont go down, try and cleaning it that will get it working right a way if not take it to were you bought it and they'll examine it and figure out if you need to buy another one or if they could fix it^^
