Had Best buy install web cam when I try and use it in yahoo messenger a window comes up saying a firewall is blocking it. I checked in control panel and the windows firewall is shut off. I do have Norton antivirus installed any advise

It is actually quite simple. It depends on the kind of Norton you have. You have to disable autoprotect if you know what that is.
NORTON 2007: Go to You Tube and search in quotes "Norton 2007 disable firewall".
NORTON 360: Right click on the taskbar were you see the Norton icon and select disable auto protect. if this doesn't work, go to You Tube and search in quotes "Norton 360 disable firewall".
OTHER VERSIONS:Go to You Tube and search in quotes "(Your Norton) disable firewall".

If your Norton Antivirus has a Firewall feature, you will have to set Norton to allow Yahoo through the firewall.
Also check your browser security settings; they may be too high.
