If England decides that they aren't going to use David Beckham anymore is there any chance that he could play on the USA team in the future?

I agree we have a sorry team in the USA, but I want to point something out to y'all in Europe. Our best athletes in the US don't play soccer. If our best athletes played soccer then we would dominate every World Cup and Championships! We would make Brazil look like pansies!

NO. ONCE A PLAYER PLAYED FOR A NATIONAL TEAM, HE CAN'T PLAY FOR ANOTHER.

He can't play for the US National Team,....ever! For one thing, he's not a citizen of the US and secondly he has already played for England's national team. According to FIFA rules, a player cannot play for more than one national team. Even if he could play for the US, I highly doubt he would. He loves England too much to even consider doing that if he could.

I'm not even going to respond to your additional details because I don't feel like getting into an argument with you but your additional details are not really true or very factual.

There isn't a chance he can play for the USA team. Or if there is, it's way too slim! First off, he's not a US citizen, like myself. Second off, the simple fact that he plays for LA Galaxy doesn't assure his spot on the US team. Third, I doubt he would do such thing to his English fans. And besides, the FIFA ain't changing their rules.

Listen, Beckham is too old to play at the international level. He's always hurt and LA Galaxy really has not seen any benefit having him in the team. Of course, he attracks a crowd but he's not the player that he used to be. Our national team can do well without his help.

he will never play for usa. for ur info., he most likely will play against croatia in a few days.

if best american athletes play soccer, america will make brazil look like crap or something u said?

well, it's not about athleticism. germans are physically better than brazil but brazil has more skill. go figure.

No there's no chance.

He has to become an American citizen, which means he has to have lived in the US for 5 years or something minimum. So by the time he can play for Amaerica, he'll probably be about 40!!!

Being an american citizen, very little chance.
Unless FIFA decide to change the rule very slightly?
