i mean, yes, being obece isnt good, but neither is stickly thin.

Obvously, no1 can make a girl think a one way or another. true.

but with the preasuer to be perfect, to look perfect, girls who already have issuees with themselves start starving themselves or finding other ways to remove food to loose weight.

I'm not directaly blaming society, but i feel like in some way, it fules some issues.

So just WHY is every1 sooo obsessed?

Being sickly thin has been glamorized...No matter what it can do to your health, and mind, people will go to all measures to achieve 'perfection'.
Being obese is not healthy either.

Everyone should be their healthy weight. & what they feel comfortable at.
But sadly, thats not how it always goes...

The obsession is not just with weight but with looks. Looks are not the most important thing about a person, but they are the first thing you notice when you see someone. Society is a negative influence, but people around you aren't much better. Even in elementary school, goodlooking kids are more popular.

obesity is not a joke, mny health issues arise from being obese, yet, at the same time girls are practically starving themselves to look like a supermodel. We have gotten bold and rude when we see people who are different in any wa than us. the world in general is not becoming a better place. vanity, greed, intolerance and hate are destroying our planet.

i believe a person should look at another for their character and personality. not because of weight, looks or height.
