I just bought a 2002 Impala LS. While driving slow the car stoped little by little and it was still on but it wouldn't move the battery light came on as it stoped I turned it off and tried turnin back on it never did so I changed the battery although I didn't think that was it cause the car didn't turn off but juts to make sure and it turned on after that now the engine light came on
and the car wouldn't start later on it started on its on!! Can anyone tell me what it can be??!!

Your "looking a gift horse in the mouth". Your yellow check engine light recorded a problem with your engine's operation and stored error codes in the computer memory. Now all you have to do is have the OBD-II error codes read out using an OBD-II code reader or scanner. http://www.autozone.com stores do it as a free service, or have a shop read out the codes. Then the repair technician follows a diagnostic procedure for those error codes to determine what's wrong with your car.

i think it is because your brakes dun let go of the rotor so that would be bad master cyylinedr seal or slave cylinder seal or bad calipers

Maybe and ignition wire problem/ or vacuum line?
i'd have shop look at it..
