I work at the local airport and I clean planes. I found this cell phone while I was cleaning a plane and when I tried to turn it on, the battery was already dead. This is a Telus Pantech cell phone. I kinda want to keep it for myself but I'm not too sure what to do about it...

plz help

Well there's another fact I forgot to say. I found this phone probably about a month ago, so if the owner really wanted his phone back he probably would have came and looked for it already.

I would say turn the cellphone into lost and found. Be honest. The person who lost it may be in dire need of it...it may have lots of important numbers on it. Too bad the battery is dead...you could of called them yourself and told them their good fortune of you having found it. Lots of kind people would offer you a reward. I know I would reward you for your kindness. If you want to try and see who the phone belongs to without going through your employer...see if the phone has a company logo on it...T-mobile or verizon. Go to one of those kiosks that sell them and see if they can help you get it charged up enough to find the rightful owner of the phone. BE HONEST and return the phone.

Hand it into the customer services at the airport you work at,the person that lost it should go back there or ring up to check if it was handed in if they track that down to their last moments with the phone. They can also block the phone from the other end so no one can use it and only they have the key to unblock it so although I don't advise it if you were to keep it it would be of no use.Good Luck.

I think you should put it in the lost property at your airport so that if the owner really wants it back they'll come and get it . It could have important stuff on it and i'm sure their not gunna want people looking through it .

Try to find the correct charger. Then, call a number on the phone and tell them you have it.

Go to Ebay and search for the correct charger. Charge it up and wither turn it in to the carrier (verizon, cingulat etc...), and they can look up who it belongs to by its ESN (electronic serial number), or you can transfer that ESN to your own account if you so choose.

Good Luck.
