Goodness! How many ignorant people do we have here on Y/A?
Clinton was the ONLY President impeached for Perjury (lying under oath). He was the second President impeached, the first one was Andrew Johnson, who was impeached for trying to help the union heal after the Civil War. Neither one of them were removed from office.
I find it shocking that there were so many WRONG answers.

Clinton went through the impeachment process which is a trial, was found not guilty and finished his term in office. The correct word for what historically happened was censure. Censure is a procedure for publicly reprimanding a public official for inappropriate behavior. When the President is censured, it serves merely as a condemnation and has no direct effect on the validity of presidency, nor are there any other particular legal consequences. As a matter of fact if this would have taken place during his first term, not only would he have remained in office but would have as well been eligible for seeking his second term. Think of it as being accused, charged, and tried for a felony then being found not guilty by trial, you would not have a record as a felon nor should you. This is due proccess.
The Republicans have never been able to differentiate between censure and impeachment for some reason?

Yes, but lying under oath is like most non-violent laws these days, only applicable to Republicans. YES, he was impeached and Yes he was disbarred, but since he is a Democrat these things don't matter (just like Sandy Berger running free while Scooter Libby sits in jail for "lying" about something that wasn't a lie, just the fact that he believe that he was lying).

sure, yet he's no longer a intercourse addict. Clinton: Lied with a view to get around being blown by an intern. Bush: Lied with a view to get us in Iraq and start up a war which has no bring about sight. Hmmm, perform a little human beings heavily see no distinction between the two?

Andrew Johnson was impeached by Congress for trying to fire cabinet members. Congress believed that he was infringing on their right of Advise and Consent. He was not convicted.
Richard Nixon was in the impeachment process. He was told by the Republican leadership that he was to be impeached in a matter of days and that the Senate would probably convict. Nixon resigned and ended the process. Gerry Ford pardoned him for all crimes he might have made while in office. It would not have been good for the United States to have an Ex-President in Jail.
Bill Clinton was impeached for lying under oath. It was one of the most expensive debacles in our history. The Republicans wanted him out. They tried every conspiracy theory they could, Whitewater, campaign financing, and finally his private life. He was also not convicted by the Senate.
As for George W. Bush, he has done nothing illegal. He went through the proper steps according to U.S. law to begin and continue the war in Iraq. The issue of no WMD's is mute, Saddam implied them and made it impossible for UN inspectors to find out the truth. Once we invaded, we discovered there were none. But our mission was to fight terrorism, end WMD's, and to depose Saddam. We have accomplish two of our three goals. Bush, while very low in the polls, cannot be impeached and convicted because he has done no crime.

He is just the one who got caught. There have been more that have done much worse.
Believe me I am not a Clinton fan but Bush needs to be Impeached and tried for illegal invasion, treason, torture and that is just the stuff I can think of off the top of my head.
I think we need a big change in the congress and the white house all around.

Too bad the Democrats are wimps and won't impeach Bush II. But they couldn't get him disbarred anyway because he wasn't smart enough to get into any lawschool. Even the one's that Poppy gave major donations.
