I personally like the traditional look better. But I think that you can definately pull off a pink christmas tree and have it look gorgeous - the trick is to tie other pink elements in around the house- and try not to make everything pink on the tree. Colors like pink and silver, white and a touch of gold ribbon would be lovely.

Yes me too, mines pink and Hello Kitty... I mean the tree itself is green, but the lights, and everything else about it is pink. I was very beautiful, it gave the room a nice soft glow. I'm trying to decide if I should do it again, or go with cherry blossoms.

Nooo! It spoil the whole thing about it being a tree! Where on earth do you see a pink tree about! Green ones are the best ones and sometimes white - at least I can see where they're coming from!

pink trees are lovely if decorated properly. i would have a typical green tree in the main entrance or best focal point upon entering the house and the pink tree (the fun tree) in perhaps a family room or other location. blueprint mag had a great pink tree on their cover this month.

Tracy, feel free to like what you like. Who's to say you're wrong?
I have this "thing" about fakes. I don't like wood-grained counter tops (because it's not wood but trying to look like wood), polyester trying to pass as wool or linen, silver- or gold-toned metal and cut glass used in jewelry, silk plants and flowers, or artificial Christmas trees of any kind.

I've never seen one but I don't think I would like them- green ones are the most natural.
