I uploaded it about 3 hours ago and the video was 20 seconds long. Surely it should be there by now? I can watch the video from my account, (my videos) But when I do a search it isn't there.

No it doesn't say its an invalid file. I can watch it through my videos but it still isn't on youtube and its been about 7 hours.

it can take up to 24 hours to show up in the searches, people can view it from your profile but just wait 24 hours and then it will be there in the searches

Go to your videos in your account and on the video you uploaded check if it says "Invalid File Format" then it does not accept the kind of video format youy used. It's happened to me before. If you're trying to upload something recorded off your PC desktop, try searching Hypercam 2 and download it, and use it to record whatever you want, save it somewhere you can remember, and upload the avi file.

did you put the right tags on there??? check again and if not add them and try again. if not still wait till tomorrow and see it its thereif not email youtube and see why not

happened to me also,
its not that you cant find it, its that it is either
failed because of unsupported codec or something
if it was an ".avi" try to convert it to ".mp4"
to view your failed video
click my account, and click my videos
