1. Courtesy Laugh. Someone thinks they are funny, you don't want to hurt their feelings: "Psht" or "aha"
2. Twitter. it's funny but it's an innapropriate time or place: "Hik-hik-hik" usually followed by a sigh.
3. Snicker. They didn't mean to be funny but they're not particularly nice anyway: "Khhik-ik-ik-ik"
4. Uncontrolled Triple Yuk with a Snort. It was funny, you were unprepared: "Hyuk-Hyuk-Hyuk (Snort!)"
5. Genuine Laugh. It was funny, it was meant to be funny, everyone laughed but it wasn't hilarious so it dies quickly: "AHa-Ha-Ha-ha, -ha... eheh..."
6. Hearty Laugh. That was a good one usually something with enough irony or tension release to warrant a little extra: "Psha-HA-HA-HA-ha-ha-ho-ho-hoo-hoo-hee hee.."
7. Bust-Up. Always in groups, a comedian or someone who is supposed to be funny, nails a punchline, timing is perfect, there has already been some laughter usually takes two breaths with a gasp in the middle, takes a while to stop and is usually finished with a "Whew or a "Hoo-boy"." then maybe a few mild aftershocks : "BWA-HA-HA-HAH-HAH-HAH-HO-HO-HO-HO-HE-HE-HE (gasp) AHA-HA-HA-HO-HO-HEE-Hee-hee Hyuk Hyuk (whe-e-w) ...ahik-hik-hik ...aha...
8. The Seizure. The big one, somebody say's the one thing that just strikes the funny bone square on the nose. You're usually in love with them, a little drunk with love. Couldn't control yourself at all! Face is grotesquely contorted, you are gasping for air, tears streaming down your face, your turning a little blue, totally embarrassed because you can't stop for a good five to ten minutes after which point, if your a female you've peed yourself a little:

Wow, I've never thought of that. I'm not positive about any of this, so don't hold me to it, but here's what I can think of.
Laughter from humor
Nervous laughter
"Flirty" laughter

I have 3 types of laughs
1-a laugh that makes me fall down to the floor
2- a shy *blushing laugh
3-a lie laugh..you know the part when we laugh but were just pretending cause its not funny.lol

the closest to mine are Chuckling and abdomen-snigger. Mine isn't probably on there * only giggling out loud non give up for no obvious reason. lol. megastar to you, i like! lol :o)
