Should we really be holding to account the views of moderate feminists for the hardline attitudes of the radical fringes?
Is any constructive purpose served in alienating positive, constructive, pro male feminist posters by stereotyping them as man haters?
Doesn't such behavior just put them on the defensive and set up conflict which achieves nothing worthwhile?
Is any constructive purpose served by besieging Feminists in this forum?

No. Moderate feminists deserve more respect than any extremist.
No. It only spawns increased animosity on this forum.
Much of the time, yes. Some of us are less prone to conflict than others.
No. The purpose of this forum is to have open, intelligent discussion of issues facing the two sexes; only every fifth question or so embodies that purpose.

Is any constructive purpose served in alienating positive, constructive, pro male feminist posters by stereotyping them as man haters? No. It drives away that type of feminist from this forum.
Doesn't such behavior just put them on the defensive and set up conflict which achieves nothing worthwhile? Yeah, that's what tends to happen.
Is any constructive purpose served by besieging Feminists in this forum? If it's a good question and not one that is merely blaming feminism for things like men's plight, global warming, etc. I'd like to see less ridiculous questions and more intelligent ones.

Who is "we"?
The feminists I met here are pretty damn reasonable and intelligent and I am very happy that I found this forum and can get to read their Q&As and I love it that we can discuss things and share views. I enjoy the people I meet here.
I don't see any stereotypical man hating dikes that the anti- fems and the media say that feminists are.
And no one is being besieged in this forum. I don't know what you mean by that. Feminists get trolled in this forum and some of us are harassed. I am right now by some freak.
The fact is that the anti fems and the trolls don't Want to do anything constructive. If they did they wouldn't be wasting their time online in a Women's Studies forum.
They are just low lifes with no life. And they know it. That's why they hate it when I say it.

No. I don't hate men. Why should I have to explain why those that do hate men behave the way they do? I don't have answers for that because I'M NOT ONE OF THEM. Just as I can't understand racism and can't understand what goes through a racist's mind. Is anyone that is white supposed to be held accountable for the behavior of a KKK member? It doesn't make sense.
No. I think some of them do it for the fun of it, to get a rise and others because they ignorantly believe that anything Pro-woman is inherently Anti-male. For example, if more women get into a career field, there is less room for the males to be in the same career since there are a limited number of jobs. The more powerful and wealth accumulating the job, the worse it is for men since THEY will have less wealth due to the jobs going to women. I disagree with that theory but I THINK that is the mindset. I think everyone has the right to wealth equally regardless of race, sex etc.
Yes. It only makes for much foaming at the mouth from either side of the mat. And I think rather than assume the defensive position, we should begin to simply ignore those attacks and address REAL questions and dialogues rather the BS that is merely a bunch of hatred and irrelevant drivel. Eventually they would get bored and leave of their own accord.
No. Other than letting them kill some time and let off some steam.

Nope. We're not personally going to change, they can't stop feminism in its tracks, and any changes they wish to effect on behalf of men don't start here. They just like to stir things up. This is their version of entertainment.

No, no, yes, and no.
EDIT:
Hehe, sorry for not being more detailed. I would have, but you basically got it all covered in your question. There's not much need for me to add my own thoughts since you pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Absolutely.
The radicals are very much a part of mainstream feminism. Mainstream feminists simply do not distance themselves from radicals in a very public, very direct way.
Some major mainstream organizations & bloggers openly support radical feminism.
If you expect people to not hold feminists accountable for their actions, I think you're going to be sorely disappointed.
If a major Democratic leaders were shown to be a racists, you'd see the entire Democratic party turn their backs on them. You'd see press meetings where the racist actions were demonized. If they did not, they shouldn't be surprised when people associated racism with the Democratic party.
The same is true for feminism and their refusal to denounce and tendency to promote man-hating radicals.
It's that simple.
