I can't help it, I love Colorado...I live in Kansas, so it's close and most of Kansas has boring roads...not the scenery, which can be interesting, but the roads themselves...pretty much straight, level, gitcha there roads...then there's farm equipment, which will always be big and moving sloooowwww.
In Colorado you get: Altitude, fresh air, winding, twisty, challenging, scary, invisible guardrails, precipitous drops should you screw up, you die, etc. Love it! Parts of New Mexico, too. I would choose New Mexico as the state I'd most like to live in, cause I like the desert, too...K ;o)

Tennessee had quite a few twisties. Kansas seemed like it had long straight roads.

I don't get that far. Wish I did.
We've got curves, hills and mountains in New Hampshire.
Nothing long and straight.
