Can i drive without road tax bought in online?

Bought my road tax online and it hasn't arived yet can i drive my car in the mean time seeing as i technically have road tax just not on display?

If you do not have any proof that you have purchased road tax, then no, you cant.

Hello If you bought it on 28/06 but it runs from 01/06 then your car is taxed so will show up as so on police ANPR systems so you would not be stopped. However you legally cannot drive it until you have the Tax Disc as you would be guilty of failure to display a valid Tax disc which is a different offence. Andy C
