if u buy it at target, then yes.... it does..... my dad bought it..... and its not cardboard.... its plastic and u just like pull out the legs and its optimus prime...... not really that exciting....

You have to buy a special limited edition boxed version of the DVD to get the case that turns into a Transformer.

You DVD for movie don't you not the cardboard case? I know some movie do the 3-d shifting covers Like "Superman doomsday" one does...

yes it does.... it is the coolest thing i have ever seen!!!!! you really need to run out and buy one. it transforms with the push of a button. the little guy, gosh its cute, follows you around and does whatever you ask of it. it done my laundry, dishes and even cleaned my room. remarkable!!!! i am going right now to get me a couple more, so i can expand what they can do for me... if you believe this, i got some ocean front property in Tennessee that i will sell you for a great bargain!!!
