do these .zip password crackers work?

I downloaded one, and started the process, went back to my computer about 2 hours laters and it was only at 2%...

Q's:

1) Would it work if it actuall got to 100%?

2) Are there any quicker ones?

No, decrypters takes lots of time depending on the password from 2 hours to 14 days, and I don't know, but what are you trying to crack? Illegal software?

Short answer, sometimes. It depends on how strong the password is.

It IS Password Protected for a reason: To keep unauthorized people from viewing it.
