cuz they want to talk to other kids, not adults.

Yes I do understand why people would say that they want advice from their own age group, but posting pregnancy questions in the adolescent section is no different than posting "My mom won't let me get a cellphone! What should I do??" in the pregnancy section. We aren't experts on pregnancy, us adolescents answerer's are the ones with the questions, not the answers. It would be so much nicer if they could just post their questions in the pregnancy section. I'm really tired of seeing the question "I haven't got my period yet, am I pregnant?"

I think you're probably right about the placement of the question. I also think you probably know the "why". They're not genuinely looking for any kind of advice, they are just trying to post something they think will stir people up and cause some controversy. Pretty sad little people, really. I usually don't even bother with the "Am I pregnant?" stuff. I figure if a female doesn't know if she could be pregnant or not, then nothing I say will penetrate her thick skull.

i agree on many things here that it couldve been a mistake on where it was put or they are directing it to the adolescents thier age for advice.
but also "why are they having sex at such young ages?"
i agree that it feels good but like someone said unless you're going to use protection then you really shouldn't be doing it at all.
just because you're being pressured into it doesn't mean you have to give in. wether it be they are okay with it but get pressured in not using a condom since "its uncomfortable" hell i'd tell the boys wrap it up or no sex! end of story. they fail to realise that just because the girl is who will end up carrying around that child they are just as responsible no matter what the age. if i recall there was a question on here before where a boy asked if it was fair for lets say a 15 yr. old to be charged with child support for getting a girl pregnant? my answer is YES a 100% yes, i hope you agree with me on that. i understand that the parents would probably have to do the paying but that will fall on the young mans consequence for acting before thinking.

I've noticed, lately when I ask some questions, the category section will start at a category no where near related to my topic. I seem to remember, a year ago, there would already be a suggested topic that was closely related to my topic. Once I asked a question about music and when I went to choose a topic, they started at Politics, or something. I'm guessing that some people just post questions and don't even bother to choose a topic. That, as you said, could lead to bad answers.

Adolescents are having sex for many of the same reasons we are. Sex feels good, and feeling good is good for you. Especially in areas where 'abstinicne only' sezx ed is taught, that is where the highest number of teen pregnancies exist.
I would however, recommend people not ready for children to master the art of masturbation, and learn about sex, but avoid penetration unless protected.
I don't get why adolescents post here at all, I thouht this forum was for parents of adolescents....

i think it's because...in the pregnancy section the questions are more about "i'm 7 months pregnant, what can i be expecting" and these kids are most likely asking about "should i tell my mom"

idk. I wish they would. its getting really annoying and I agree, half of them are probably making it up. and by doing that they just sound like $luts! like..really really REALLY annoying now. I usually come to the adolescent section [beauty and style has been taken over by really dumb questions that have nothing to do with beauty] and I try to ask a question about a problem I have with a guy or how my friends and I are in a fight or what not. anywho, I only get about 2 answers because right after I ask my question, like 10 girls say they "might" or "are" pregnant.

maybe because adolescent is a category under pregnancy and parenting and they think that it means teen pregnancy?

Probably for attention. It's dumb though. How are we supposed to know if someone is pregnant or not? We are not all doctors and even if we were we cannot figure out if they are pregnant or not through the computer.

because they are adolescents and want advice from people their own age probably. They may not realize that anyone answering is seeing the category and seeing that they are too young to be pregnant.
My question is why are adolecents having sex in the first place?
