How about slowing the pace down & removing some of the toys stuck on ears.
Life would be more enjoyable smelling the roses and a lot safer on the road with undivided attention.
Everyone is so busy & rushed & no time for pure relaxing & sharing with others anymore. Bring back peace & time.~~~~

Trials or hardships are important, they are a test (not necessarily a spiritual one) but certainly a test upon the strength and courage of the individual who endures it. Many people would find owning one car a hardship while another feeding their kids cabbage for a week would consider that a luxury. That itself is terribly divergent. Perspective is funny that way. Everyone yearns to be comforted, that in itself is a survival instinct. Religious or not, if you've gained anything from what you consider a hardship it should be greater understanding, the kind you can pass on to others in their time of need.

I'd like to bring back the way that men and woman stood by eachother and there was no cheating....

when the men would make the first move and impress the woman. Also, in those times children weren't so goddamn chavvy. Children back then never hurt animals for fun and they respected their parents and other elders.

I'd like it if kids could play safely in the streets, if they played together more instead of being isolated in bedrooms playing computer games. I think the companionship and the social skills learned make it easier to relate to one another, make for more understanding and ability to feel compassion, which would result in more caring communities.
