Is there any other site as popular as this one, that is as option-deprived as this one ? No HTML, fine, but why can't we at least have italics ? Is there no room for art in answering questions ? Must we be so cut and dried ? (Answer quickly, deletion of the question is guaranteed)

Even YA admin can't be so delusional as to think Answers is not halfway to being chat. It's like one of the old "bulletin boards" I frequented in the early days of the net. Must have something to do with licence fees.

Yeah you are so right, why can't there be just like this code, like on bebo even they have stuff

like (which is 4 italics) or (to get it bold)

it is as simple as that!

I would love italics. I've thought for a long time that if there's one thing this site needs, it's italics.

they said it would turn yahoo answers into something more like a chat room, and people wouldn't follow the rules, so they aren't bothering to try.

if only we could get everyone to do what they are suppose 2 do.

you know how they say, one will ruin it for the rest of us....if they did let us use it, then someone would abuse it. Remember how stupid people write in Chat???? that's what you 'd get here too.

great idea though;)
