They have to bash Hillary, because they are dead set against any woman becoming president. They are scarred to death that she is even gaining a little bit of approval from the public. Her becoming president would be more historic than when woman gained the right to vote. The "Good Ol Boys" in government would just crap themselves. So, Hillary will be the butt of jokes until and probably after the election in 08.

It's well-known that, even many Democrats feel Hillary cannot prevail in the general election. She's too easy of a target. Too much baggage.
Even Obama mentioned this at the debates!
The Democratic hierarchy is now realizing Hillary is not the savior they thought she was. She's getting slammed in debates, and people are ridiculing her. She'll be like what they used to call Joan Crawford at one point in her career "Box Office Poison".
So, in their own self interest, they're switching to Obama.

No, they've dissed Hillary on quite a few shows. It's a sign that the writers want laughs from their audience at the expense of any politician.

The christmas tree is not a "major cherished religious symbol". There were no christmas trees at Jesus' birth, let alone other modern day ornaments. Most likely the tree only became associated with christmas because it was used for a variety of holidays. The round bulbs you see on trees are probably an aftermath of people in the fifteenth century hanging apples and other fruits on a tree for celebrations. As for gay-bashing, I don't see it. Is it because a guy delivered the line instead of a girl?

Hillary is still on top for the Dems and I wouldn't be surprised if
Pres Hillary made Obama a Supreme Court Justice. I know its far out but this could happen.

I have to admit the dems' change to Obama is refreshing. I am so tired of their glorification of that stale Hillary.
I don't think it makes much difference in the long run - neither can win - but at least, it makes for a better view along the way.
