yes I agreed with you, unless Justine Henin is pulled from the tournament from injuries or illness, I think no one will be able to capture the title from Justine Henin.

Henin works hard ever since her mother had died, and I think that is really good. She never under-estimates her opponents, and works hard on every shot.

It all depends on how Henin and the other women play in the WTA Masters in Madrid.

I think Serena Williams will have a great shot because if she plays like how she played last year in the Australian, she will rock, and it might be a close compeition between her and Henin. It depends how into the game she is having Serena Williams very focused in her fashion work. She is also gaining a lot pounds, and that could keep her held back. If she continues to work hard, I think she will be able to make it to finals against Henin.

Svetlana Kuznetsova and Ana Ivanovic are hard to tell because if they both work hard, I mean really hard, like how hard Svetlana worked in the 2004 US Open. I am not sure, if both of these players will make it to the finals, but best luck!

Daniela Hantuchova and Anna Chakvetadze are also hard to predict was is ahead of their future. I think Anna Chakvetadze is at a good start, but Daniela needs to build her confidence, and lose the many unforced errors that sometimes she makes. If both of them play at their top level, we will be seeing them around the semis or finals.

Jelena Jankovic can play superior sometimes, but sometimes she is in deep slump. She was thinking about retiring, earlier in her career. Definitely if she builds up the confidence and gets some self-esteem, she is on top of the bar. She has amazing strokes, a beautiful 2 handed backhand, but she needs to keep positive.

Now... Maria Sharapova, she has been suffering from the minor shoulder injury, but she is better now. She isn't as focused in fashion as Serena Williams, but if she keeps her solid shots, and keep her power at a reasonable level, I believe she has a good shot of going to the finals.

It all depends on how they play, and the best thing I can say is we'll have to see who is going to win...

As we all know now, it is Henin-Sharapova... So the prediction on this columm was slim down to the best 2 players as we have seen sometimes in the beginning of this year. Sharapova- without her injuries all year, should be no doubt kept herself at least in # 2 spot, but that is not the case. The main point is, she possesses superv athletic ability and that says it all. If she win this match, and I hope she does, that will erase all the animosity that I read in tennis sports column. In the end she will had her say, and the last laugh that goes with it also. I wish them both. May the best player win... Go maria, prove it...

Henin will win because, she is better player technically, she has more idea what to do if things start going wrong. I think the only one that can challenge her is lard **** herself, Serena Williams, who she has owned in the last few matches.

She is well rested, mentally at ease after reconcillation in her family.

She is driven and motivated, her coach, who has helped her in life and in her game is Spanish, i think that certainly counts for something.

But at the end of the day this sport and anything can happen, she can play a bad couple of games in the third set and be going home.

Players can go on a hot streak (take Nalbandian in the last few weeks), but I would still put my money on Henin, in fact i think i will.

1 Justine Henin

Well i am sure almost everyone despite of who they really like or who they are hoping will win it.. know that Justine henin will more then likely win the title... Justine is just so complete, she has no major weakness in her game, forehand and backhand is a killer, and her net game is probably the best. Serena willams has alot of determination, and she feels like back in austrailia she has a big point to prove to everyone, and she wants to defeat henin more then anything right now.

Serenas advantage her physical strength, determination and power game.
Jankovics advantage. consistency in her strokes, amazing footwork
ivanics advantage her powerfulll but sometimes erractic forehand

sharpova advantage her baseline power...

identity prefer to confirm Sharpova take a carry of it because of the fact she is between the few classic gamers left in a rookie field and she or he remains extremely youthful the classic gamers, Daniela Hantuchova, serena willams, venus willams, Kim clijsters, Svetalana Kuzentosva... no longer lots greater left after that truly

I predict Henin - Kuznetsova and Jankovic - Ivanovic semis, then Henin-Ivanovic finale, and Henin probably wins.
P.S. I am never right when it comes to predictions :-)

I think that it would be Henin - Ivanovic finals, and Henin would win it. However, I hope that Jankovic or Ivanovic or even Sharapova would win it!!!
