I usually have a very outgoing, friendly personality however since moving to my current location I have noticed I have become withdrawn and litterally hate the people around me, even though they've never done anything to make me feel that way.

yes l think it does, you tend to become like you surroundings, if you come from a rough area you will become rough to survive, if you are from a well off area, then it will show in your character.
