Against all expectations, we didn't blow ourselves up in the 20th century. Y2K came to nothing. Enough with the pessimism already. The cat has a point, if you don't like how things are, then try and change them. Be part of the solution. Pick a cause and pitch in, even if it's just one hour a week. Change the world for the better.

Hope because so much is possible and so many people are working so hard to make things better, and fear that we will do the wrong things with all the possibles and because so many people are choosing to be lazy, stupid and/or to give up instead of getting off their tail-less posteriors and making an effort to be part of the solution.
