That's absolutely shocking, did you spill much of your beer or did you catch it in time?
I think that churches should have beer can holders like at the cinema

How rude! Some people just don't know what good manners are these days. I always thought the rule was: No ciggies til after the service, beer's okay as long as you don't belch, and
if you're going to eat, bring enough for everyone. : )

Jesus would be very angry with the ciggie and the beeer, huh!
Of course when we're inside the church, we must behave and earnestly listen to the words of God...especially in the homily.

disgraceful lol, but better than that...
My daughter who has learning difficulties was in church, the vicar was holding a service for young people, he decided to repeat a hymn to help the youngsters learn the words etc.
At the top of her voice, in front of the whole congregation, she shouted "F***ing hell not that again".
I don't know how I kept a straight face, absolutely hilarious.
She was about 15 at the time, and we haven't been back.

That gold coloured thing on a chain with smoke coming out isn't a ciggie. The vicar's handbag is on fire.

lol, that is shocking. Things have changed around the church in my area. For one thing, the Vicar won't do that graven images workshop anymore.

Unfortunately yes, but I'm trying to get over it.
3 years of therapy has helped.
But still getting used to the fact that I CAN think for myself and get it right.

All I do is thumb wrestle with my son during the sermon, otherwise I'd be sleeping.
