You may think this is a little weird after reading the other answers (and I wouldn't discount any of them either). However, I have problems with certain toilet papers leaving a powdery residue that irritates & builds up that showering doesn't wash away. I try and stay away from the super "soft" ones like "Cashmere" & "Royale".

Possibly yeast build-up, which is quite common, and treatable.
It can, however, (depending a lot on your age)..and a few other factors..relate to another "possible" problem.
Please do not take too much advice from these pages (even mine) It MIGHT just be Thrush, however I would strongly advise you to see a Doctor, [asap]. Please dont let my answer scare you..BUT, If your Question is genuine, get to that Doctor NOW. and more so that IF you dont go and the condition worsens in the next few days, by very noticeable redness and soreness, that becomes extremely uncomfortable..get your Vulva checked

This could be an infection such as a yeast infection but the only way to find out for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
