LEt me clarlify a few things on this question. The CPO's are from his soon to be ex, and his 18 year old daughter. The CPO's that are on him, from them. They do not pertain to my children. I live in ohio, so I am trying to get some good answers and advise here. He also has been accused of and arrested and jailed for breaking the CPO, he has not been found guilty yet.

Did you instigate the cpos ? Sometimes this is seen by your judge as he said/she said garbage and they tend to diminish their impact in custody and parental rights/visitation (now or in the future if you have not begun the process). If you have a Mediator, make sure that he/she knows about the nature of your concerns and see if they will intervene on your behalf. You say "soon-to-be ex" - so have you started legal proceedings ? If these cpos are legitimate and third party go back to your lawyer and determine your best recourse-- Is a provision in the cpo no contact with minors ? If he is in blatant violation get photographic proof, don't confront and make a scene, but request that the police investigate. Make sure that your kids are not hearing any of this nor in any way involved if not necessary. Stay with the court system as frustrating as it may be for you, once you get on the wrong side of it the repercussions for you can get bad. I wish you the best of luck, I am sure these are terrible times for you right now. Keep the kids #1 as I am sure you will.

The cops won't help, and every lawyer in the book will be glad to take your money, then do nothing to help you. If you are careful, you can get a lawyer that will help. Make them explain their strategy before you hire them. DON"T hire a female lawyer. Find a well respected ex family court judge. DO NOT hire a divorce lawyer who is not an ex judge. Judges tend to side with their colleagues. You have good grounds for custody. Judges frown upon paramores in the home with children. Forget that you cared for this woman and hit her with everything you can muster. DON'T pull any punches. Act quickly, but carefully. Good luck.

I would look into what the CPO order is for, i presume that is like a AVO here in queensland "apprehended violence order" if it is anything pertaining to physical violence I would obtain a court order to gain full custody of the children. The security of your children is of the utmost importance to you and any moral court in this country.

Go to your lawyer and ask if you can do anything to protect your children from this man and any other man in the future. You can put in the divorce that no one can live in the house unless they are related. It is a protection for the kids, so that men/woman are not moving in and out of the house willey nilly.

a woman i understand left her husband to shack up with a guy and have been given pregnant till now the divorce....THEY ASSUMED the baby IS THE HUSBANDS! The custody case grew to become into postponed till the lady gave delivery and a paternity try could desire to be accomplished even inspite of the indisputable fact that she claimed all alongside the child grew to become into no longer her husband's. She have been given all her childrens, even inspite of the indisputable fact that she does not paintings and her lover is an ex-con. With each and every of the ended marriages I quite have considered, the courts lean in the direction of the mother getting custody despite if she is a bite of crap. The few fathers I quite have considered win at this, paid interior the path of the nostril for a lawyer. i understand childrens are no longer aspects, despite if, the asserting "possession is 9/10th of the regulation" seems to hold a hoop to it whilst it is composed of custody to boot. The longer the daddy can save the youngsters interior the homestead earlier than the divorce, the greater advantageous his possibilities for procuring custody. it is not a for effective element. from time to time judges have a chip on their shoulder and don't rule in prefer of justice. Get to understand what form of choose you have, previous rulings their marital satus, and so on. that's recommended to alter judges if the only you have has a music checklist of ruling one way or has a bitterness approximately particular circumstances. Your lawyer will understand. style of like, could you like to bypass in front of a choose for DWI in case you knew his daughter grew to become into killed by a inebriated driving force?
