It seems logical that the friends of K&G should be re interviewed in order to try to clarify what happened that night.Do you think that by making them all arguidos then the truth might come out and there will be an end to this charade and there will be justice for this little girl ?

Thanks Badgers.... you contribute zilch with your answers. Why bother ?

Badgers It's a damned good job you don't work for the PJ because under your theory you would sit back and do nothing so the truth would never be discovered.

Archi... yes it is possible that one of the friends could have been driving the car because the McCanns and all their followers and reporters were away "finding Maddy" so who ever was left behind could work unnoticed.

Tgibson..... The PJ never offer Kate a deal because under Portuguese law they are not allowed to plea bargain. This was later put to Kate who then admitted that she was mistaken.
The McCanns seem experts at lying and misunderstanding when it suits them.

Little weed, you are absolutely correct, and a lot of us have been saying this for a while now. There is no way the McCanns would have been able to carry out this crime by themselves.

I believe Murat is involved, and possibly hid the body for them in his mothers villa, hence the dna evidence being there. I also believe that some of the other members of their party are also in someway involved.

The dna evidence in the car is a fact, but who actually drove the car that day? Was it possible for one of their friends to have done it?

Was Murat translating for the couple thus appearing to be helping, but just like Huntley was, trying to learn any information for the McCanns.

A lot of red herrings have been chucked into the public arena to try and fool people or to get people to feel sorry for them, but in reality the tide has now turned against them. I want justice for that little girl, and hope to see at least two people rot in a Portuguese prison.

Maybe the McCanns are just trying to ride out their Arguido status and if there is no evidence, they have to release them from it. People on here, the McFanns, seem to think that it is Johnny foreigner picking on a poor English couple. I say to all these, think about Madeiline. Think about the parents as well, whose actions and deeds have spoken volumes about them.

This should have been done straight away, because maybe something would have come of it. Jane Tanner has already been proven to be a liar with the blanket/no blanket and faceless man fiasco (nobody else saw him, and three people have contradicted her, including Gerry McCann.) If there are inconsistencies, then they need ironing out. I don't know whether the McCanns and their friends had anything to do with it or not, but in two weeks' time, they either have to charge or clear Murat because his arguido status will have legally come to an end. If he is cleared, that leaves the McCanns, and possibly their friends, as the ONLY suspects in Madeleine's case. I hope that they have had nothing to do with it, and I pray that Madeleine will be found safe and well.

Do you not realize that out of 9 people, someone would have cracked by now???

I don't see what's so hard to understand about that.
Atleast 1 of the 9 would have told a "best friend" in confidence, then that person would have told someone they thought they could trust , and so on - it would have been told the the cops by someone! You must not be very old to not realize that this happens ALOT!

Say you tell a friend a secret and swear her to secrecy. Then she tells her "best friend" and swears her to secrecy, and so on - do you really think if they were involved that one of them wouldn't have said a word ? I think not - it just takes common sense to realize that.

The PJ offered Kate a deal where she would only go to prison for , what was it, 1-2 years - can't remember exactly - but if she had done it, she would have jumped on this - 1-2 years versus life? use a little common sense

What, I don't understand is why just these 4 people, why not all 9? I guess the Police have their are reasons for this. Making them suspects may be what is needed to get them interviewed as the British authorities aren't co-operating with the Portuguese on this matter

Yes, I think so, at least this guy, friend of them that went to check on the children after G. and then when K. came "Maddie was missing". I never understood why he wasn't declared a suspect, If it was my child I would be suspicious about everything even my friend, but they trust them 100%.

Well it will certainly put a lot of pressure on, especially K&G! and points the finger back to where it should be........ It's the behaviour of the \tapas 9, that has caused all the suspicion in the first place, what with there constand contradictions and cover-ups........ Lets hope the weakest link will crack........

You all seem to be a bit behind with the latest news,a bloodied footprint on the hire car that matched blood in the apartment, which led the police to suspect the parents, has been found by the forensics lab to have come from the boot of a portugese police officer on the case, and guess what, its not Madelines,so thats the body in the car theory up in smoke.

Now they are all back it wont make any difference. If new evidence is found to bring charges against them then they will be arrested and charged.

Personally I think this will be one of the great unsolved cases of all time, a bit like the Jon Benet case.
