i was assigned to define the different components found on the sanitary napkins which might not be beneficial to the consumers. some components on some pads are:

outer: tissue & plastic, silicon coated paper, silicon coated paper & plastic
inner: cotton & crystal gel, cotton & blue tissue, tissue

i heard that most sanitary napkins use recyclable paper but i'm not sure if these brands use em. can you help me by telling me how are these not beneficial? thanx!!!

Most regularly marketed brands of both pads and tampons contain harmful chemicals such as dioxin, rayon, and bleach. The dioxin is potentionally carcinogenic (associated with cancer). The rayon is for absorbency and it's bleached. I'll give you a link so you can learn about it if you're interested. Best of luck!

Depending on how the pads are made it can create a problem with irritation in a woman's genital area.

I would also recommend checking with your doctor's office by talking to his assistant to see what she says. She may have even more information that can help.
