Frankly, the premier site for listing a home for sale is still www.realtor.com, the site of the National Association of Realtors. While you DO have to list the property with a realtor who belongs to a local MLS and NAR to get on realtor.com.

However, it is not necessary to pay a full listing agency to gain this access. There are several 'limited service' agencies popping up who will charge a flat fee of $500-$700 to get your listing into the MLS and onto realtor.com, with NO other services included in the fee.
