What made you stay that long? Are you enjoying your stay too much that time has passed by without you noticing it?

Next year I'm gonna be on my 10th year and I can't wait to get out.

I stayed 25 years. The work was great co workers nice, A boss from HELL I hope to P on her grave. The highest turnover in the business. I reported her to the union. Life became hell. I has a mild heart atack. She never even came to the hospital . the doctor said retire or the next one wont be mild. My entire family & friends say im a new man. Life is great. I hear from co workers she is so desperate Now offers a $ 1000.oo signing bonus

Yes, Until I retired I had been with the same job for 18 years. Then I retired.

I have just left my job after 12 years. I think 10 years is long enough in any position but the longer you stay the harder it is to leave your comfort zone.

Yes and I hate it. At my age there is no other job I could get. I have to support an unemployed husband and every day is a battle to get happy about going to work

No ! but i know a person, he is satisfied with his job. he got a low salary, but his position is so tight that he doesn't fear of his imediate boss or senior boss, he directly talk to the owner of the company, and owner also respect him. sometime he bark so loudly to his CEO also.

11 years, and they let me telecommute. That makes up for a LOT of corporate issues.

i worked in the NHS for 20yrs and enjoyed it.-rewarding.
