The feeling and the assurance of being complete can be achieved with self-reliance. Being independent-minded and achieving goals in your life will add to this assurance.
First, friendship with oneself and love for oneself leads one to make the right decisions that treats oneself well. Relationship or love is a privilege that some people feel adds to the feeling of completion. However, there are stages in life when one does not desire or want love because they have more "important" things to accomplish. At other or later times, one may seek love. It depends on the person's goals, and although life is short-it still should be lived according to one's most ambitious blueprint. I personally try to live my life according to the highest ethics and I believe this adds to my feeling of completion. Lastly, not living a cookie-cutter life like everyone else also helps me own my life. That doesn't mean party like the celebs or do anything wasteful or strange. It means examining yourself, knowing yourself, making choices that make you happy, and not doing things just to get on the bandwagon or please authority or others. This entails you bow to no one and no one is going to control how you live--to have fierce independence in heart and mind.

In the great organization of the universe, the positive is incomplete without the negative, the positive electricity is incomplete without the negative, so in the makeup of human life, man is quite incomplete without the woman. Man and woman together, rather masculinity and femininity together, aggressiveness and surrender together, war and peace together, make for a perfect union, a complete life.
