Ah, yes "family" . . . . relationships that make you want to rolf your cheerios sometimes . . super swell. Been there, drank water.

I love Inheritance! It tells the whole story. I'm not fond of From The Mouth of The River. The first sentence phrase is great, the second needs a word change and the 3rd & 4th need complete revision, in my opinion. The subject is Blood & Water and how they relate to our "Cliche" way of thinking. This piece must pack a punch and it falls a bit short for me.
Allow me to suggest the following changes:
Blood may be thicker,
But it may make the heart sicker,
Perhaps the clarity of the river,
Will heal a soul tortured and withered.
Just an idea...nothing is written in stone!
