Daylight savings time is from when people didn't always have electrical lighting in their houses, so they shifted the day to have more hours of sunlight. I personally think that it is silly, and so do a lot of other people. If we got rid of it, everyone would still keep their sanity and it would make programming clocks into computers a lot easier. Some states, like Arizona, don't have daylight savings time.

But I always found it peculiar that we have DST in the summer.
Shouldn't we be saving daylight in the winter, when the days are shorter?

i dont know but im workin graveyard and just had 2 hars of one oclock.. so not only do i work an hr longer.. my break got pushed back..suck ***
