depends on how it is cooked and what the toppings are. if you order from a domino's or other pizza place the pizza would be greasy and really bad for you...if you were to make it on your own you can change the ingredients, and toppings and make it much healthier

The original design back home in Italy was healthy but the added ingredients have changed things. The animal fat from the pep and saus tear you up. Also nothing is worse than underdone pizza dough or tomato sauce. Crunchy bell peppers don't sit well with me. A good Italian restaurant prefries the meat and takes off a significant portion of the fat (sometimes called grease) The bread is of a better quality. Pizza joints have dozens of pizza crusts laying around for hours. The cheese has fat, mozz and parmesan, but is not more harmful than a glass of milk. I make my pizzas from scratch but it is unrealistic these days.

It depends on how they are cooked and what is on them. Meats add a lot of grease to the Pizza especially pepperoni and sausage. Pizza can be healthy if made with low fat cheese, whole wheat crust, natural sauce and topped with veggies. Most pizza you order out is not very healthy, but you can make healthy pizza at home.

Neither of them are very good for you at all. The only benefit to ordered pizza is that it probably doesn't have as many preservatives and/or chemicals in it, but this depends on the brand too. You're better off to make your own pizza at home with whole wheat crust, low-fat cheese, lean meats, & lots of veggies. The frozen & ordered ones are typically made on thick, white crust, and are laden with high-fat cheeses, meats, and high-sodium sauces & toppings. There are usually very few veggies. They are simply not a healthy option, as they will just spike your blood sugar, leaving you hungry again in an hour or two. =(

No, Pizzas are not healthy. Even though they so contain a bit from most food groups it is predominately from the fat group! Not to mention if you were to have a 3oz serving of meat by eating pizza you would have to eat a whole large pizza! Also most pizzas have lots of extra oil in the sauce and dough . I remember from working at pizza hut that one peice of a 14" large pan meat lover pizza had over 700 calories and 30 grams of fat. Personally I could easily eat half of one of those!

Some kinds of Pizza can be healthy, If they are home-made with low fat ingredients. Put Fruit and Veggies on it and you could be onto a winner! Eat all other kinds occasionally.

Sure they are, providing you don't eat deep dish (less carbs the better, thin crust is most healthy), don't get extra cheese and finally make sure you put some veggies with your meat.
