please may i know, the approximate figure and please tell me which ones do you'll prefer.........

and will i get 1 gb memory card or sd card with brands other than nokia

If you do not compress the songs you can store upto approx. 200 songs.
If you want music at its best you can go with sony ericsson W series If you want good quality good battery etc. then choose nokia bcoz it is found that sony's batteries are noy that much good!
And if you are buying a phone pricing more than 10,000 you will get a memory card (256 512 mb or 1 GB based on price of Phone)

This depends upon the length and streeming rate of the mp3 song. a typical song of 5 min. @ 96 kbps will take upto 4.75 MB of space. and 1GB = 1024 MB. now u can self calculate. I think Nokia is better for u. U can choose any brand of memory card but check for it's warranty and performance first.

1 GB is 1 GB. About 500 is possible but 300 is more usual.
The quality of the replay is dependent on the quality of your player not your storage.

Well a song on avarage is about 3 MB

1000 MB in a GB

So il`d say 300ish songs

Need to know how long the songs are, and if there's other things (photos, etc.) being used for memory also.
