In the corner of our bathroom window we have a ladybird nest. They are red with black spots but we are wondering if they can do any harm and if they will just die out on their own now that it is winter.

Your Ladybird "Nest" is actually their Hibernating group they will if you let them? stay there until next spring and hopefully will not die then come out when the weather warms up.

Don't do what others suggest and get rid of them they are Our native species.

Hmmm depends if they are the native UK ones or those horrid invaders. They apparently bite,, and leave a nasty mess around. Truthfully, I would get rid - sorry!
