Ya know I am beginning to tire of repeating that not all witches are Wiccan!!!!
Now, on to your question, I KNOW witches exist because I am one and have been for over 40 years now. We do not do silly parlor tricks or supernatural BS like you see in Harry Potter and Charmed. We are your neighbors and maybe even your friends, but you would not know it unless we chose to tell you. What we do is wth WITH the energy found in nature to affect desired results, such as protection, forms of healing and providing for other needs (not wants). In a way we consider ourselves to be the guardians of the planet. We are people who respect nature and do what we can to protect her because we are all part of nature. We use the forces f nature, not abuse them or in any way abuse the earth if we can help it.

If you go over to the Religion and Spirituality section of Answers you will find quite a few witches.
They do exist. They just don't look like the wicked witch of the west. They are real, everyday people.

Witches actually did/do exist, they mix herbs etc. Somtimes there are weird people who practise mythical witchraft, casting voodoo spells and making love potions..
