open office or for a few quid ( depending on where you buy ) star office.

Then again if it is the golf club-- get them to pay for the cheapest version of microsoft office and get the spreadsheet excel. Easier to find someone to help out if you have problems, if you use the industry standard product. Remember time is money. Excel is the nicest product to use.
