The earth is actually only 154 years old and is a replacement earth. The first earth was accidently blown up to make way for a space highway.

Well, if the Earth was only 6500 years old, it wouldn't explain the Ice Age, the ages of the dinosaurs, or all the other species of animals great and small that came, multiplied, lived and went extinct...nor would it explain the massive craters left in the Yucatan and other places that clearly show that the Earth was struck by massive meteorites some time in its history, which you would think some primitive people might have noticed.
Folks...PLEASE get off the computer and pick up a book...
A literal reading of the Bible states that Noah and his family were the only survivors of the flood (8 people in all, 4 of them women).
A literal reading of the Bible states that Abraham was born less than 300 years after the flood.
A literal reading of the Bible then states that Abraham went on a journey and promptly encountered the Egyptians, Pharaoh, princes and all. Those 4 women on the ark must have been INCREDIBLY fertile...not only did they manage to successfully replenish their own race in 300 years, but other entire civilizations as well.

If the Earth is 6,000 years old, then our understanding of some very key and fundamental bits of science are fatally flawed. Especially in the areas of radiation, the speed of light, geology, botany, archaeology and astronomy.
And if this were the case... we'd all be dead because the nuclear reactors of the world would have gone haywire the moment they were turned on. Your microwave oven would either kill you or do nothing. And your cell phone would be useless. Oh, and MRIs. And CAT scans. Plus, light would have to have traveled faster at the beginning than it does today, otherwise, what about all those things we can see and measure millions of light years away?. Young earth creationists indeed say this must have been the case. But... an inconvenient idea, this faster speed, as it would actually have the reverse effect and require that the universe to be much _older_, not younger. Oh, and we'd all be dead from extreme radiation exposure.
I for one think we have better things to do with our time than to try to force facts to fit into a preconceived notion. And I think those who can't let go of this need to consider if they, in direct defiance of their god's words, are saying they know the mind of god. Because their god would be mighty upset if they're sitting there denying his works as shown to the very eyes, ears and mind he's supposed to have given them.
For visual explanations of some of these concepts, I highly recommend the videos linked below.

If I was to find an error in my science text would it make all science invalid? It wasn't long ago that many scientists believed the Earth was flat.

Sorry, I go with science 4.55 billion.
Religion persecuted those who argued that the earth was round, or that the sun was the center of the solar system... and they were eventually proven right.

it is 6,500 God years old. One god year = approx. 692,000 of our years. Do the math.
the 6 days to make the Earth is = to 11,375 years.

closer to 6,500.
the earth would be in worse condition than it is now if it were 4.55 billion years old. and i doubt that it took 4.54 billion years before someone figured out electricity and cars and all of the inventions that happened in the last 500 years

I go with proof..which would support billions of years.
as for no proof of evolution...huh..a baby is living proof of it. were adam and eve ever babies...nope...so what the hell are people talking about when they say other wise. babies don't have the same number of bones as a adult..etc.
it amazes me what some people will believe...if that's the case..well then hey.. i have a bridge to sell them.
