No,if the answer is rude and the person was asking a sincere question then I agree that those who vote should give that person who is giving a rude answer a thumbs down even if it is funny and I admit that some answers to some questions are pretty funny, but why should anyone applaud people for being rude and unkind towards someone that may be seeking an answer to a serious question.What I find really irritating are the people who are so shallow that they give a thumbs down to questions or answers that are actually good and well thought out.

Yeah it does! I am one who does love sarcasm, I guess I got it from my father and the 6 years I worked in surgery. I mean if one works in surgery, or a hospital, you get good at sarcasm and enjoy it. I mean it's kinda funny. So yeah even if it has a bunch of thumbs down by it, if it's funny I do laugh. I think it's even better when it is really the best or right advise and people give it a thumbs down. I just think it's funny because it just shows how stupid many people are. I swear I am not a mean person! I am a very nice, kind and caring person, but stupid people, showing their stupidity and being proud of it!! That's always funny to me. =)

I don`t get a chuckle out of an intentional rude answer but I really get a big belly laugh out of a thinly disguised super sarcastic humorous answer to a question that most folks would consider better left unasked.

Yeah, i can't stop laughing if it's really funny. Especially if the question is really dumb and some sarcastic, witty person answers them. LOL

yes. some of them make me crack up.. others make me mad. I find that when its a young teen asking an important question and people make comments about dating them or stupid things that peeves me off but when someone asks a dumb question and gets a dumb answer then yes I laugh.
