First you need to make sure that you have taken some of the basic courses required for getting into a School Psychology program. Courses include: Intro. Stats, Abnormal Psych., Human Development, Testing and Measurement, and Research Methods. You then need to decide whether you want to do any research or whether you just want to work in a public/private school setting. If you just want to work in a school, apply to a program that offers a Education Specialist degree, which usually takes 3 years to complete. Sometimes it's tricky to find this program, but they are usually found on the Psychology or Education Department homepages. The other route is getting a PhD which takes 5-6 years to complete. With a PhD you can consult and have your own private practice. Be prepared to have top notch grades/test scores to get in though.
I recommend taking the EdS route because you won't have a hard time finding work, and you will only make about $3000 less a year than someone with a PhD.

probable psychology, or baby psychology. some colleges furnish a level in counseling. Sorry i don't understand what the pastime could pay, yet i in my opinion doubt it may pay lots on condition that a instructor's sales already sucks. (i bypass to be a instructor with a historic past in psychology or social amenities so i've got appeared into the tiers required for this variety of element).
