Because it's funny that the person thinks it's funny enough to share. I don't really laugh at the joke - I laugh at the person. Not really in a mean way, though. Haha.

No I don't laugh at jokes that aren't funny. I would say "guess I should have been there". My family makes Arabic jokes that I don't get, so it's usually me not the joke.

i am usually polite but there are the odd times when it takes everything within me not to yell out " SHUT UP"!
i recently travelled into the city with a new friend and her kids and had to endure every knock knock joke ever known to man. i resisted the urge to slap them and politely sat there with a stupid smile on my face...

oh well here's the thing
i sometimes laugh at them..but it's just liek hihihihi not hahahaha
but when it's someone known for his bad jokes *just like my physics teacher*....i expect him to say silly stuff so i laugh but not at the joke...at him...or we just go starring at each other like: huh?!!!
7aram...he never knows we're laughing at him
so is it bad ?!!!...i swear i can't help but laugh...he tell those jokes with all confidence...even he laughs at his own jokes...
no no and the better is yet to come....he's always excited to tell us more of those amazing jokes :S

I even struggle to catch on to good jokes ! No , contrary to what you & that other one think , I am POLITE & would never be so rude ....well , almost never !

Well, yes, I laugh - even when they don't make any sence to me. I usually get a "delayed reaction" to jokes - so it takes a while for them to "sink in" with me, sometimes.
