Personally, give me silver, white gold or platinum. I am a jewler and my experience tells me that younger girls prefer the white look and the older women like gold.

I love both!! But I'd have to say I like the look of silver better.. my engagement ring is white gold and my wedding band is yellow gold with diamonds... never thought those two would look good together, but they do!!! They sparkle like the fourth of July!!

Gold.
Silver totally washes me out...and I think most of the people who wear it, or platinum, or white gold, or titanium, look totally crappy in it too. Not everyone...but it's become the hot, trendy thing in jewelry, which is fine, but it just doesn't look good on everyone...and they don't stop to think if looking better wearing what is not hot is more important than following what is hot right now.
Or they don't know that they look like crap in silver.
Anyway...gold.
And while we're on the subject...no mixing of the two on one body.
Drives me crazy.
