Iran is actually more free. The Saudi's are Wahhabi muslims which are a very strict, fundimentalist sect. This is what Osama is. Also, they are still ruled by a royal family who do not put up with protest or criticism from within. You don't hear much about them in the news because they are supposed "allies" and keep their cards close to their chests. Although Iran's government is belligerent towards their perceived enemies, their citizens are pretty progressive and do speak out and protest. They are more 'westernized' than many other Middle Eastern countries. You could say that the government allows this and they are therefore more free.
