We're going to have a gingerbread making contest in about two weeks and I've never made one before
Can you guys help me out-as in tell me how to construct/should I decorate before or after I've stuck all the pieces together?
And any other suggestions will be appreciated!
Thanks

I would suggest asking in a different category. I think you may get better results. Good luck and make the house and let it dry before decorating.

Ok, I was just gonna say to use graham crackers until I saw your details.
Next, go to Bettycrocker.com and see if there is a recipe for "cement" frosting, as it should make the cracker "walls" stay up and sturdy. then decorate with the icing tubes and candies; use your imagination. have fun!

Walmart and Kmart sell a kit for about $10. You could buy 2 and go from there using the parts and your own imagination!! Have fun!
