Am the owner of 3 large Parrots, (they own us actually)Umbrella Cockatoo, Moluccan Cockatoo, and an Amazon. All three are large hook-beaked parrots. Let us just say that I have a great amount of respect for them and never permit them above my shoulders because they like to be boss. Parrots are unpredictable. A person can typically tell when a dog is going to bite but not a parrot. They are like children to us, 3 yr. old children-constantly getting into something.

If the parrot is in a cage,I am fine. If the parrot is out of the cage flying around, I would be scared and running.... :)

No. I've got three parrots (they're medium-sized, but a hooked beak is a hooked beak).
